MEET GARY
Gary Boyd is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth with degrees in Sociology and Psychology, and certification in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis.Born and raised in Duluth, he began his career as a probation officer in the Twin Cities before entering the field of HR. He has over 25 years of HR experience working in leadership roles within various industries including mining, agriculture and durable goods manufacturing (both domestic and international). Although he has held Director and VP/HR roles for global leaders in their industry, he’s worked in the trenches.
He relates well to people at all levels – from the strategic challenges facing a business leader to the everyday tactical problems dealt with by their employees.
He is exceptionally effective at root cause analysis of personnel issues and finding practical, common sense, win/win solutions.
